Catechesis of the good shepherd in holland
The Netherlands
Starting from 2009, the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd has spread to several locations in the Netherlands, also for level III. We are members of the American National Association of the Good Shepherd and also offer training courses in English.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is now present in Leiden, Sittard, Den Bosch, Rotterdam and Utrecht (check out these Dutch pages).

Formation Courses
Since 2013 we regularly offer training courses for catechists in English (as in Dutch). These are led by formation leaders recognized by the American National Association of the Good Shepherd.
The next English course of level II will be held in November 2023 (see flyer).

Dan Teller
Dan Teller earned a Masters in Montessori Education from Xavier University in 1984 and has been involved in Montessori education almost continually ever since. After teaching at a public Montessori school for 11 years, Dan served as a parochial school principal for three years before founding Queen of Angels Montessori School in 1998. Dan served as a principal, teacher, and catechist at the school (now named Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori, serving children ages 3-14) until retiring in 2022.
Dan began his formation in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 1998. He is trained as a catechist at Level I, II, and III in CGS and has worked at all three levels of atria for 25 years. He began work as a formation leader around 15 years ago and has enjoyed training future CGS catechists at all three levels. Dan had the opportunity to serve as an American representative on the CGS International Consiglio for 10 years in the early 2000’s.
Dan is married to Maureen and they reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have seven children and two grandchildren.
Sister Theresa Anne, OP
Sister Theresa Anne is a Dominican Sister of St. Cecilia from Nashville, Tennessee. She became a Good Shepherd catechist in 2009 and an adult formation leader in 2014. After teaching in a few of her congregation's Catholic schools, she came to serve in The Netherlands where she now lives. Sister Theresa Anne holds a master's degree in theology and loves listening to the Good Shepherd with children and adults in the atrium.
She currently serves children in level I and II and has been offering adult formation courses in The Netherlands and throughout Europe. Also see her testimonial at the website of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia.
